An Award Pour Moi

Ingrid at Fashion is My Muse nominated me for the Excessively Diverting Blog Award today.  (Ingrid also has a lovely blog on books called Blog of a Bookworm.) It’s always a pleasure to be recognized for one’s efforts, within Blogland and out.   Thank you, Ingrid!

I’m rather uncomfortable choosing e-friends to nominate in the interest of not leaving others out. There is one person, however, who’s been so helpful since I started blogging that I’ll nominate just her:  Hazel at The Clever Pup.

The aim of the award is to acknowledge writing excellence in the spirit of Jane Austen's genius in amusing and delighting readers with her irony, humour, wit and talent for keen observation. Recipients will uphold the highest standards in the art of sparkling banter, witty repartee and gentle reprove.

Hazel, please claim your award. You may post the badge, list the name of the person who nominated you and link to their blog. Then you many nominate others that you feel meet or exceed the standards set forth. But if you are award-weary or have already won this award before, please just enjoy the honour!!!

Congratulations on your award; you ave such a it is truly a well deserved one.;)
I know what you mean about how difficult it is to give out awards, I sometimes wait until I have a few to give out so I do not leave people out or give them out to more than I should.;) It is a very difficult task.;))
Have a great St Patrick's Day;))

Wow thanks Blue Kimono! How do I claim my award? - do I just copy and paste? I will complete the task later today when hopefully my own laptop will be up and running again. Thanks.

Just thought I would let you know I was here. I'm a fan of the clever pup as well, and just happened to find my way here from there. The Jane Austen award is neat. Geez the great things that people think of!
"Recipients will uphold the highest standards in the art of sparkling banter, witty repartee and gentle reprove." up my alley!
ok on with my day.

Congratulations on your Award! I'm rather uncomfortable with these things too, but it is nice to know people appreciate you. And I must thank you for wondering what happened to me!! I have been down with the flu and with computer problems that I thought were gone but have returned and I am so afraid of losing my photos. So there is maintenance in my future! If I disappear you will know what happened!!
Talk to ya later,

Congratulations on the "excessively appropriate" award for you and your blog!
I think the design and color scheme of the will go perfectly with your current page design if you decide to show it off here somewhere( a bit shallow to think that, but I couldn't help noticing that)
