That’s it for today.

Happy Tuesday!

Wow: very clear and poignant post. And to think she is almost twice my age. From now on I will stop complaining about being old.
And I hope to be looking this good one day.;)

What style, what beauty! Gives me hope and permission to splash on the crimson.

And here I was contemplating going and getting some hair dye today, thinking I had better start covering the grey hairs...
This woman is incredibly beautiful-how inspirational to see her.

Wow. She is stunning. Note to self: don't be afraid to wear grey when I have grey hair one day. Because it looks so good on her.

Stunning. When we look in the mirror and feel a surge of nostalgia, hating those lines creeping around our eyes and lips, and remembering the florid shape of our breasts - which now look more like two empty change purses - one is forced to look to individuals like these for inspiration. We can be hot at 80 too.
Grazie!

Good interview with her in Daily Mail:

Before I go gray and wear it, I need to think about whether I could "do a Daphne"! Ms. Selfe won the genetic lottery, was then photographed by Mario Testino (or a similar name), and before publication, every stray bit or uneven tone is photoshopped. Then add the fab clothes and jewelery. (She says she doesn't dress anything like this in real life.)

When I asked my hairdresser "what would I look like if I went gray?", he replied, "practical".

When I see a woman on the street who looks like this, I just want to go up and hug and thank her! It is rare.

I think we're all in agreement here. She's inspiring! And to those of you who referred to the Daily Mail article, thanks--that's how I found this photograph. And I first saw Daphne on Profoundly Superficial--thanks, ProSup. www.profoundlysuperficial.blogspot.com/

p.s. I like her hair. Who says you have to cut it all off after "a certain age??"

I would love to look this good. She looks terrific. There's something about how substance, character and remaining genuine can turn into outstanding beauty.
